Manny going to the New York Yankees?

I read yesterday that Manny might be going to the Yankees.  I guess they're the only team that can afford him.  But it sure doesn't seem right.

Boston Red Sox fans have got to be letting out a collective groan. 

It doesn't seem like too many players ever live up to expectations once they go to the Yankees so it could be the worst move of his career.  He certainly showed he could play the last few months of the season but I can't say I blame the Dodgers for not wanting to give him a 4 year contract.
